The Snow Has Fallen

The snow has fallen
At last.
The world is covered
In a lacy blanket
And everything is asleep.
Untouched.
Soundless.
The shadows cast
Upon the snow.
While the sun
Shines bright.
The flowers are
Withered.
The animals are
Silent.
But there is a
Regal air
That surrounds the
Snow.
It holds so much
Sadness
Beauty
Bitterness.
Yet, it holds the 
Power
To capture the heart.

    Ah, snow. The prettiest thing when it first comes fluttering down, but when it piles up and becomes crusty and you just want it to be spring...well, it's not so great. ;)

    Ham snow. It kind of makes me miss it. I wanted to do another snow photoshoot with my friends, but the snow is melting-- and fast. In fact, on the way back from the bus stop to my house, a bunch of little kids scrambled up to me with their water guns and were like, "We demand snow! Have you stolen our snow?" I cracked up so much, walking away... But then got ambushed my kids spraying water. XD

      Hahaha! Over here it's just piling up, and when you think it's starting to melt, it just starts snowing again! :)
