A New Piece Of Writing

Hey people! I recently wrote something. It's not really a story, but it could be a part

of a story. Well, here's the story.

"You never let me do anything!" I screamed as I slammed the back door.

I raced down the porch steps and ran as fast as I could 

towards the woods. 

Faster, I urged myself. Faster! She'll get you! She'll find out! Faster!!

Although I knew no one could catch me, I still liked to pretend she was chasing me.

I stopped, panting. 

Gazing up at the magnificent tree tops I thought, What a beautiful world.

And all they want to do is destroy it.

Sighing, I raised my arms up to the sky and chirped.

Suddenly, all the animals that lived in the forest appeared.

Deer, squirrels, birds, all of them ran into the heart of the forest.

I was safe here. They would protect me.

I could find my destiny.
