Tea On A Dreary Afternoon

29.10.14

This afternoon, I decided to be a little different, and instead of sitting at the table working, I had a cup of tea. :) My mom had recently bought this delicious cranberry (my blog name!) and
walnut bread with sour cherry jam, which I thought was absolutely perfect to go along with my tea.

Do any of you ever think it's a bit boring to be an American? I mean, honestly, Americans are so common in American (U.S)! :) Some of you may not live in the U.S, but you may feel the same way.
Well, I thought I might having tea at tea time just like the British. And I really must say, it was
quite enjoyable. I must do it more often.

I had one of my favorites, raspberry zinger. I was going to have peppermint tea, but believe it or not, we were all out! With a little bit of sugar, the zinger was just as good though. :)

Who here has watched The Sound of Music or knows of the song Do Re Mi
Tea, a drink with jam and bread..............
Exactly what I had! Anyway, I took it upstairs and huddled up in my little reading chair and read The Wind In The Willows.Quite a lovely book. I think I will do a book review on it when I finish.
So long, farewell......

  1. I've seen 'sound of music' (ever since I was really little) My siblings always sang that song whenever something came up about it. BTW-I love peppermint tea! My mom has a full cabinet (She is crazy about tea) filled with tea bags and such. And every Christmas eve we sit around a little table and have a tea party!

    1. That sounds really cool! :) I've been watching it since I was really little too! We actually own the movie. :) My mom and sisters are also crazy about tea so between us all we have literally every kind of tea that was ever made. Lol.

  2. I'm not much of a fan of tea xD I prefer coffee. But when I have tea, it's with tea leaves, not anything fruity or minty or stuff xD just normal tea.
