Lot's of Little Things

2.3.15

Hello everyone!
Sorry I haven't been on that much lately. I've been busy with school, books, and other stuff. ;)

I've been writing a lot of poems lately, and I'm going to share one of them with you in my next post, so keep your eyes open for that. :)

Just a random question: Have any of you seen Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (long title right;)? I saw it a few days ago, and I think it might have been one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. :)

I've been thinking a lot of getting a DSLR camera, because right now, I only use my mom's iPhone 6, and I'd really like to have a camera of my own. Hopefully I will be able to get one this summer. I'm considering getting either the Canon Rebel T3i or the T3, and I'm leaning more towards the T3i right now.

Recently, I started taking a photography class with my sister, and I'm really enjoying it. She's a professional photographer, in case you guys were wondering. ;)

Also, happy March to all of you! I can't wait till spring comes, the snow over here is already melting! :)

Just a quick reminder, but my photography contest ends today. But, because I didn't get that many entries, :(  I decided to extend the entry deadline a little bit longer. It now ends on March 20th, so if any of you wanted to enter but didn't get a chance to, please do! If you would like to see the original post with all the contest rules and such, click here.

I know this post isn't much, but I do have a lot of nice one's coming up, and I can't wait to share them with you. :)

  1. You should get the T3i. My mom has it, and it's a really great camera.

  2. I haven't seen that movie, but I really want to get around to seeing it! I've heard it's really funny!
I am not good at taking pictures, just because I don't have a good camera, but I hope you have more people enter your contest!
Love your blog, and I can't wait to read your poem :)

  3. Oooh, I'll have to enter in the contest maybe :)
    That quote is superb.
I've been looking into the DSLR's lately. That's so awesome that you have an older sister who's a professional, you'll probably get lots of tips :)

  4. You don't necessarily need a DSLR, but I've been thinking about it too, because whenever I'm in a theatre production I'm called in to take photos of the cast and to do it with a point-and-shoot can be tiring... Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is very funny. My family is pretty quiet compared to the one in the movie, but I couldn't stop cracking up and comparing. It's way different from the book but I liked the approach.

    xoxo Morning
