Recap: The Past Few Days

23.2.15

Hey. :) I've been wanting to do a recap kind of post for a while, and now I finally got around to it. :) So, without further ado, my week:

Wednesday:

I went to the movies with my older sister. I don't go to the movies very often, so this was a bit of a treat for me. We went to see The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. You're probably all wondering why I haven't already seen it. That's because my sisters and I were originally going to see it over winter break, but when we got to the movie theater, they were sold out! Sad, isn't it?
So anyways, the movie was super long, so we had to get a medium sized popcorn (which, by the way, looked bigger than the large. lol) and Coke right? About halfway through the movie I notice my sister was gone, but she came back a few minutes later with her hands full of, can you guess it? Food. So, for the next half of the movie we stuffed ourselves with pizza, more popcorn, cheese fries, and more soda. Yes, I was an extremely unhealthy person that day.) When we left the theater, I proceeded to continue to stuff myself with the leftover popcorn. :)

Thursday:

Thursday was a bit of a boring day. I simply sat around all day and worked (I'm homeschooled), read, read, and read. :) It also snowed a bit, so I went outside and took some photos. My last post includes them; you can see it here.

Friday:

I went to the library (hurray!!) and checked out a few books I wanted to read and one I needed to read for a book club I run. :)

Saturday:

A typical relaxing day. I sat around, doing nothing really. lol. I also watched Home Alone I and II, which I actually hadn't seen before. :o They were hilarious and I really enjoyed them. Definitely going to watch them again soon!

Sunday:

Believe it or not, it snowed again. I love the snow, but I'm honestly getting a bit tired of it. I went outside and took some more pictures with my cousin just for fun. I'm also trying to start exercising more often, so yesterday I also walked a mile with my mom. :)

So that was my week. I definitely enjoyed it. Did you enjoy yours?

  2. Cress. I see Cress! I love that series! It feels like forever until winter comes out!
My week was okay, but school was cancelled for 4 days due to the snow:) so I was stuck inside all week.

    1. I know right?! I'm still on Scarlet, but I wanted to have Cress just in case the library wouldn't have it by the time I wanted to read it. It's such a popular series!
That's to bad. Since I'm homeschooled I know what it feels like to be stuck inside with nothing to do. Not the best feeling right?

  3. You're reading Cress? I just finished it and now I'm moving onto Fairest. And the Battle of the Five Armies had me stuck in the same situation too; the movie theater that my friends and I gather to meet up to gets sold out real fast, and you have to purchase a ticket two hours in advance if you want a spot. Also, I'm still counted as an author on your blog... Do you mind removing me? It's hard to keep track of all of my blogs in place. O-o

    xoxo Morning

    1. Well, not exactly. I'm still on Scarlet, but since it's such a popular series, I picked up Cress just in case the library wouldn't have it by the time I finished Scarlet. :)
It's so frustrating right?! I was so upset when I found out they were all sold out. However, when I went the second time, the theater was empty and we were the only people there for a while!
Of course! I just removed you. ;) Sorry about that. :)

Sounds like you've had a good week! Is the book club local or online?

    1. Oh yes, they were delicious! The book club is local. It's just a few of my friends who like to read and I. We all meet up at my house once a month. :)
